Responsibilities
- Own complex mechanical subsystems for drone products
- Gather requirements and conduct trade studies
- Perform hand calculations and FEA for design optimization
- Lead design reviews and collaborate with cross-disciplinary partners
- Build prototypes and execute hardware test plans
- Conduct root cause investigations for hardware failures
- Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of mechanical/design experience
- Demonstrated product ownership from concept through production
- CAD skills and ability to create high-quality engineering drawings
- Proficient in hands-on prototyping skills
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Demonstrated project/technical leadership skills
- BS or MS in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
