Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate hardware on unmanned air vehicles.
- Own designs from concept generation to real-world use.
- Utilize first principles physics for decision-making.
- Lead design reviews, conduct analysis, and define hardware test plans.
- Build prototypes and analyze failures for production transition.
- Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers.
- Travel to test sites as necessary.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in Advanced Air Vehicles Programs.
- Experience integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems into advanced air vehicles.
- Proficiency in designing mechanical parts using CAD and understanding manufacturing methods.
- Strong competence in engineering first principles.
- BS or higher degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience in NX/Teamcenter and developing aircraft subsystem layouts.
