Responsibilities
- Execute rapid evaluation of engineering concepts across various fields.
- Perform trade studies and physics-based analysis of engineering problems.
- Design, implement, and test complex electro-mechanical systems.
- Lead design reviews and define hardware test plans.
- Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition projects into production.
- Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers.
- Travel to test sites as needed.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience in a professional setting.
- Experience designing mechanical parts and understanding manufacturing methods.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams.
- High competence with engineering first principles.
- BS, MS, or PhD in an engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
- Eligible for an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred experience in developing aircraft subsystem layouts and integrating subsystems onto air vehicles.
