Responsibilities
- Own hardware from concept generation to real-world use.
- Use first principles physics as a basis for every decision.
- Lead design reviews, run analysis, visit vendors, and define hardware test plans.
- Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production.
- Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers as needed.
- Travel to test sites as needed.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in a professional setting.
- CAD skills (any platform) and ability to create high-quality engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills.
- High competence with engineering first principles.
- BS, M.Eng, MS, or PhD in an engineering field.
- U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data.
- Preferred: Experience in NX/Teamcenter and integrating electronic components into mechanical designs.
