Responsibilities
- Independently perform trade studies, designs, and generate solutions for approval.
- Execute the procurement of hardware as necessary to implement solutions.
- Test, verify, and demonstrate the effectiveness of solutions.
- Own a portion of the manufacturing value chain for specific products.
- Work hands-on with technicians and other engineers to build prototype hardware.
- Develop novel tooling solutions for fabrication and assembly.
- Write documentation for successfully manufacturing hardware at scale.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's in engineering, math, or a hard science.
- Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship.
- Genuine interest in manufacturing and a desire to learn.
- U.S. Person status required for accessing Controlled Unclassified Information.
- Ability to complete an in-person Co-Op in Costa Mesa, CA and Santa Ana, CA.
- Preferred experience in manufacturing, PCBA fabrication, and personal hardware manufacturing.
- Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing systems.
