Responsibilities
- Design, test, and validate Battery Management Systems (BMS) for autonomous vehicles.
- Oversee vehicle-level integrations and complete lifecycle design from concept through production.
- Conduct full cycle PCB design including requirements collection, schematic design, and component selection.
- Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses for electronic equipment.
- Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
- Build and test engine system components through various tests.
- Perform root cause analysis in support of field operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong background in circuit design, including components and mixed-signals design.
- Experience with Battery Management Systems or in the automotive industry.
- Design experience in power electronics, converter design, and powertrain.
- Proficiency with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Familiarity with standard interfaces like CAN, I2C, SPI, etc.
- Competence with various electronic CAD tools, with preference for Altium.
