Responsibilities
- Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection and PCB design.
- Troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools.
- Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers.
- Manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.
- Support new developments and customer-operated hardware in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensure effective communication and organization in project management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3 months - 2 years of technical work experience, including internships.
- Familiarity with test equipment like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Experience with software development processes and tools (e.g., git, JIRA).
- Knowledge of standard interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, etc.).
- Proficiency in embedded Linux development and programming languages (C/C++, Python).
- U.S. Person status due to access to export-controlled information.
