Responsibilities
- Lead technical execution from vision & initial design through fabrication, test, and production.
- Develop systems for intuitive setup and use by warfighters, including modular sensor expansion.
- Conduct trades to explore early designs with technical SMEs and Business Development teams.
- Craft system-level architecture that supports robust and cost-effective design.
- Define product milestones and lead technical design reviews.
- Coordinate fabrication of prototypes and oversee subsystem/system level testing.
- Support remote troubleshooting and in-field testing of deployed systems.
Job Requirements
- Experience in a senior role leading system design and development from concept to delivery.
- Technical Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Software engineering, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with complex robotic systems and data analysis.
- Familiarity with mechatronic design, firmware, and software system design.
- Ability to lead a cross-functional team and engage technically with various engineering leads.
- High ownership mentality and strong organizational skills.
- Desire to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
