Responsibilities
- Lead technical and programmatic execution of air vehicle systems design and fabrication.
- Own the technical and programmatic success of programs, establishing vision and assembling expert teams.
- Set up trades for early conceptual designs and collaborate with business development teams.
- Manage detailed system design including requirements development and risk management.
- Coordinate fabrication of prototypes and oversee testing efforts.
- Support remotely deployed operations of systems.
- Work with senior leadership to ensure adequate resource planning.
Job Requirements
- Deep understanding of unmanned aircraft, especially Group 3 class.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Software engineering.
- Experience leading air vehicle programs from concept through delivery.
- Proven ability to drive strategic direction and solve complex optimization challenges.
- Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with mission-critical DOD systems and troubleshooting remotely deployed systems.
- Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance and willingness to travel up to 50%.
