Responsibilities
- Design, manufacture, test, and certify electromechanical sensing devices.
- Develop new technologies within a multidisciplinary team.
- Create 3D models using SolidWorks and specify materials and assembly methods.
- Generate technical documentation for product designs, including design reports and test procedures.
- Conduct structural, thermal, fatigue, and dimensional analyses.
- Review specifications to support product design processes.
- Integrate design for six sigma, reliability, and manufacturability into product designs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5+ years of experience in designing electromechanical sensing devices in regulated industries.
- Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of aerospace components and standards.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks version 2020 or later.
- Experience in designing for severe vibration and thermal environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
