Responsibilities
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes by analyzing current and proposed methods.
- Develop manufacturing processes to meet product requirements while optimizing inputs.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency by planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Investigate and resolve critical production issues.
- Represent the operations department in new product development projects.
- Interface with quality and engineering contacts during reviews and audits.
- Lead Material Review Board activities in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or other Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an AS9100 compliant manufacturing facility, preferably aerospace.
- Understanding of welding, machining, NDT & Assembly operations.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with product transfers and make/buy analyses.
