Responsibilities
- Design mechanical parts and sub-assemblies under senior engineers' guidance.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed part drawings.
- Apply basic GD&T per ANSI/ASME Y14.5 standards to drawings.
- Support integration of mechanical components with electrical and thermal systems.
- Participate in NPI programs and support engineering changes.
- Assist with prototype assembly and basic functional testing.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to ensure design requirements are met.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Knowledge of mechanical drawings and basic GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with prototype builds and testing.
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes for metals and plastics.
