Responsibilities
- Design mechanical parts and sub-assemblies under guidance from senior engineers.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using CAD tools.
- Apply basic GD&T to drawings.
- Support integration of mechanical components with other systems.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.
- Assist with prototype builds and basic functional testing.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers on design clarifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Working knowledge of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with prototype builds and testing.
- Strong communication skills for team collaboration.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes for metals and plastics.
