Responsibilities
- Own mechanical design for advanced server and GPU platforms from architecture to production release.
- Develop mechanical design strategies and perform tolerance analysis.
- Create and review 3D CAD models and detailed drawings.
- Lead prototype builds and drive mechanical design validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements.
- Champion Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Reliability (DFR).
- Mentor junior engineers and manage design changes.
Job Requirements
- Strong mechanical or product design experience in server hardware or high-performance computing.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks.
- Understanding of mechanical materials and manufacturing processes.
- Background in tolerance analysis and thermal/mechanical simulation.
- Proven track record of leading mechanical design projects.
- Experience coordinating with suppliers and managing deliverables.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
