Responsibilities

  • Build performance and power models connecting architectural decisions to workload behavior.
  • Analyze AI workloads against AMD Instinct™ microarchitecture to identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to evaluate proposed hardware features.
  • Own the feedback loop between workload characterization and hardware design.
  • Contribute to the IREE compiler and ROCm™ stack, focusing on optimizations and runtime API extensions.
  • Work at the Linux kernel level to improve GPU compute infrastructure.
  • Develop reproducible benchmarks and performance regression infrastructure.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in GPU compute hardware and AI systems software.
  • Strong foundation in computer architecture and performance modeling.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, and Python for system-level and tooling work.
  • Experience with GPU programming via CUDA and/or HIP.
  • Familiarity with Linux kernel internals relevant to GPU compute.
  • Knowledge of AI framework internals like PyTorch and Triton.
  • Academic credentials in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
