Responsibilities
- Create detailed designs for mechanical systems and build/test prototypes to validate the designs.
- Develop innovative approaches to cool the systems and analyze thermal performance using advanced tools.
- Conduct simulations and experiments to verify designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and thermal related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development while keeping projects on schedule.
- Manage new product development mechanical/thermal processes for successful product launches.
- Oversee the manufacturing process of mechanical/thermal components to ensure quality and specifications are met.
Job Requirements
- Experience in mechanical and thermal designs on Ethernet Network and Server products.
- Strong background in mechanical/thermal design, analysis, and validation.
- Knowledge of Design for Assembly/Manufacturing and statistical tolerance analysis.
- Proficiency in using advanced 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks and ProEngineer.
- Experience with thermal and structural analysis tools such as Ansys.
- Hands-on experience with the latest liquid cooling technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
