Responsibilities
- Lead Engineer responsible for designing, developing, debugging, verifying, and validating firmware.
- Oversee day-to-day firmware development work.
- Consult with internal and external customers regarding AMD features and programming requirements.
- Collaborate with firmware engineers, developers, and architects across various IPs.
- Implement firmware solutions that enhance next-generation computing experiences.
- Ensure quality and performance of firmware produced.
- Maintain effective technical communication and collaboration within the team.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Multiple years of related firmware experience within the semiconductor industry.
- Expert-level experience in producing quality firmware.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent technical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated self-starter with a passion for firmware development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
