Responsibilities
- Support architectural trades with thermal analysis for spacecraft and subsystems.
- Perform detailed analysis of Bus and Payload subsystems and components.
- Develop automated scripts for rapid analysis updates.
- Design and select heat pipes for bus and payload components.
- Define and execute test setups for thermal cycling and TVAC tests.
- Conduct testing of prototypes for design feedback.
- Document trades and prepare materials for design review gates.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience with thermal analysis software.
- 1+ year experience in test planning and results correlation.
- 1+ year of experience in thermal control hardware development.
- Proficient with thermal simulation software and programming.
- Advanced degree preferred (Master’s or PhD).
- Experience with spacecraft thermal design is a plus.
