Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical engineering technical leadership.
- Design and develop complex robotic vision and robotic compute systems.
- Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of electro-mechanical and optical systems.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Work with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality organizations for product launch.
- Write functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Hands-on experience with proof-of-concept models and prototypes.
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Experience with full product lifecycle and meeting milestones.
- Experience evaluating design and performance tradeoffs for hardware systems.
