Robotics Systems Engineer , Tech Deployment

The Robotics Systems Engineer in Tech Deployment at Amazon Robotics is responsible for overseeing the deployment of industrial automation and robotics technologies across North America. The role involves project planning, installation, and technical oversight of robotic systems, requiring strong collaboration with various stakeholders and extensive travel.

• Support and guide installation of robotics and packaging technologies at fulfillment centers.
• Develop knowledge of robotic systems and guide installation and troubleshooting.
• Manage technical ambiguity around integration of work cells.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, program managers, and operations teams.
• Travel to project sites to ensure alignment on program status.
• Manage project scheduling and budget.
• Lead continuous improvement activities for project execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Experience in a construction, manufacturing, or warehouse environment.
• 1+ years of experience with technical drawings and CAD models.
• 1+ years of experience with mechanical, electrical, or networked systems.
• Ability to make data-driven decisions and troubleshoot complex systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically 75% or more.
• Familiarity with hardware integration and robotic equipment is preferred.
