Responsibilities
- Support and guide the installation of robotics, packaging, and sortation technologies at Amazon fulfillment centers.
- Develop detailed knowledge of robotic systems and manage their installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, product managers, and internal teams.
- Travel to project sites for collaboration and ensure alignment of business stakeholders on project status.
- Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
- Work on continuous improvement activities to enhance project execution.
- Lead teams of engineers on various projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
- Ability to travel domestically 75% or more of the year.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or related fields.
- Preferred: Knowledge of configuration management systems (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
- Preferred: Experience in network capture and systems troubleshooting.
- Preferred: Experience building scripts and automation for large-scale computing environments.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external partners.
