Responsibilities
- Oversee large scale project planning, installation, and launch of industrial automation technologies.
- Support and guide installation of robotics, packaging, and sortation technologies at fulfillment centers.
- Develop detailed knowledge of robotic systems for installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering, technical program managers, and internal customers.
- Manage day-to-day project scheduling and budget management.
- Travel to project sites across North America, upwards of 75% or more.
- Lead teams of engineers on projects and implement continuous improvement ideas.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field.
- Ability to travel domestically 75% or more of the year.
- Preferred: 2+ years of systems engineering or related experience.
- Preferred: Knowledge of configuration management systems (e.g., Puppet, Chef).
- Preferred: Experience in network capture and systems troubleshooting.
- Preferred: Experience building scripts and automation for large-scale environments.
- Strong technical skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
