The Robotics Hardware Development Engineer Intern/Co-op position at Amazon focuses on engaging students in hardware engineering projects related to robotics. Interns will work collaboratively on scalable projects that impact customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Completing project tasks with a team of other interns/co-ops and Amazon engineers
- Utilizing Amazon engineering tools and processes
- Prototyping and testing concepts or features
- Tracking progress of task deliverables
- Developing and maintaining design documentation
- Presenting information to managers and engineers
- Engaging with Amazonians for personal and professional development
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or higher in Engineering or related STEM fields
- Knowledge of hardware engineering fundamentals in mechanical, electrical, or related fields
- Experience with hardware design, development, and testing
- Familiarity with applicable hardware physical tools and digital tools (e.g., 3D CAD)
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills (preferred)
- Previous technical internship(s) or project experience (preferred)
