Responsibilities
- Develop Reliability strategies for complex robotic solutions optimized for availability, life cycle cost, and performance.
- Define reliability requirements and allocations for complex systems.
- Develop Reliability, Availability & Maintainability (RAM) models and drive optimization of Amazon Robotics systems.
- Explore and inform design trade-offs between reliability, performance, cost, and schedule.
- Manage reliability risks through effective Failure Modes Effects Analyses and NUDD.
- Develop reliability test plans and data collection strategies.
- Expand and optimize diagnostics, Prognostics and Health Management (PHM), and error code reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to engage with cross-functional teams to develop reliability requirements.
- Knowledge of statistics and engineering principles for designing test plans and analyzing results.
