Responsibilities
- Provide PCB/PCBA DFM feedback and escalate manufacturing challenges early in product development.
- Drive the PCBA Manufacturing Qualification process and lead key milestone reviews.
- Investigate and develop new manufacturing technologies to enhance quality and cost.
- Resolve operational issues during pre-production builds and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Identify and mitigate root causes of production failures/defects.
- Simplify PCBA manufacturing processes and reduce risks.
- Monitor product success and provide status reports on PCBAs from design to production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in PCBA/PCB production and manufacturing engineering.
- Experience with board assembly processes and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in PCBA/PCB supply chain or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality tools and experience with statistical analysis and experimental design.
- Familiarity with IPC standards and polymeric applications.
