Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and layout trades contributing to overall system architecture configuration selection.
- Generate detailed designs with 3D CAD assemblies/components and 2D drawings.
- Conduct static, dynamic, and modal structural analysis to support design work.
- Deliver efficient designs optimized for high volume production (DFM, DFA).
- Document and present materials for technical design reviews.
- Design and support test campaigns for space hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- Preferred experience in designing complex mechanical products and equipment at volume.
- Familiarity with NX and Teamcenter.
