Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and layout trades for overall system architecture configuration.
- Generate detailed designs with 3D CAD assemblies/components and 2D drawings.
- Conduct static, dynamic, and modal structural analysis.
- Deliver designs optimized for high volume production.
- Document and present materials for technical design reviews.
- Design and support test campaigns for space hardware.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines including Electrical, RF, Thermal, and more.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- Knowledge of designing complex mechanical products at volume.
- Familiarity with NX and Teamcenter is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hands-on role.
- Must meet export control requirements (U.S. citizenship or equivalent).
