Responsibilities
- Conduct mechanical design and layout trades for system architecture configuration.
- Generate detailed designs with 3D CAD assemblies/components and 2D drawings.
- Perform static, dynamic, and modal structural analysis to support design work.
- Deliver designs optimized for high volume production (DFM, DFA).
- Document and present materials for technical design reviews.
- Design and support test campaigns for space hardware.
- Collaborate with multiple disciplines including Electrical, RF, Thermal, and others.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- Preferred experience in designing complex mechanical products at volume.
- Familiarity with NX and Teamcenter.
- U.S. citizenship or residency required due to export control laws.
- Strong collaborative and analytical skills.
