Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes.
- Serve as the primary technical interface to the development team for an OISL sub-assembly.
- Support the operations team by solving technical problems during production.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and other functions to implement new processes.
- Conduct independent development work on production improvement actions.
- Develop and implement new quality control measures for quality escapes.
- Participate in meetings regarding new design introductions and production management.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools (preferred).
- Experience in designing complex mechanical products and equipment at volume (preferred).
