Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and improve production processes through collaboration.
- Serve as primary technical interface for the Coarse Pointing Assembly sub-module.
- Support operations by resolving technical issues during production.
- Own capacity increase roadmap for the Coarse Pointing Assembly device.
- Collaborate with teams on new design introductions and production process changes.
- Spend time on the shop floor implementing new processes and solving technical blockers.
- Analyze data sets to identify and implement production improvements.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with Space Flight Hardware Environmental Testing.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools (preferred).
- Experience in designing complex mechanical products at volume (preferred).
