Responsibilities
- Create and maintain shop work orders in Manufacturing Execution and ERP software.
- Interrogate CAD models and 2D technical drawings for manufacturing dimensions and requirements.
- Interface with purchasing and NC programming groups to prioritize and report load for the machine shop.
- Define and plan all manufacturing steps in ME software for aerospace detail parts.
- Update process steps for manufacturing tight tolerance metallic aerospace parts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing and scheduling requirements through communication with purchasing.
- Support the manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing of satellite hardware.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science, physics, or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in aerospace or aviation metallic manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of CNC machining and CMM inspection processes.
- Experience with SAP ME/ERP or equivalent software.
- Familiarity with AS9100 compliant QMS systems.
- Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5-2009).
- Proficiency in CAD software (NX/Catia/Autocad) and MS Office suite.
