Responsibilities
- Manage the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct Cpk and capabilities analysis to improve yield and throughput.
- Provide engineering support for troubleshooting production issues.
- Utilize CAD software for designing manufacturing tools and fixtures.
- Develop and update process documentation and flow diagrams.
- Collaborate with teams to transition new products from concept to production.
- Work on continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years developing manufacturing and/or automation processes.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools.
- Familiarity with industrial motion systems and AI applications.
- Coding knowledge, preferably in Python.
