Responsibilities
- Plan material flow and implement manufacturing processes for satellite handling and testing operations.
- Adhere to safety requirements, standards, and procedures.
- Final assembly and test of the Kuiper satellites in a controlled environment.
- Verify satellite health using computer-controlled equipment.
- Define rigging diagrams and lift operations for equipment.
- Author and implement work instructions and standard processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve anomalies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- 5+ years' experience with space flight hardware in mechanical integration and testing.
- Experience with satellite assembly, rework, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with clean room environments and ESD sensitive hardware.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment.
- Formal training in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
