Responsibilities
- Plan material flow and implement manufacturing processes for satellite handling and testing operations.
- Adhere to safety requirements, standards, and procedures in all work locations.
- Final assembly and testing of Kuiper satellites in clean-room and ESD controlled environments.
- Verify satellite health using computer-controlled equipment.
- Author and implement work instructions and standard processes.
- Interface with cross-functional teams for payload processing facility commissioning.
- Mentor new and junior team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- 5+ years' experience with space flight hardware in mechanical integration and testing.
- Experience authoring and executing mechanical and test work instructions.
- Hands-on experience with satellite assembly, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room environments.
- Experience working with electrically energized systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
