Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test critical features for embedded applications and platforms for the Prime Air Drone.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes for complex functional and performance issues.
- Collaborate with hardware teams and vendors to enable new computing hardware and functionality.
- Engage in embedded firmware development, particularly in C/C++.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues using tools like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Innovate and solve challenging problems in a fast-paced environment.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with low-level drivers and interrupt service routines.
- Familiarity with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware.
- Experience with board bring-up and debugging hardware.
