Responsibilities
- Execute product designs from concept to production, including design, prototyping, validation, testing, and certification.
- Own a large component of a subsystem from concept to fielding.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Develop functional specifications, design verification plans, and test procedures.
- Architect, design, and implement complex embedded systems, analog and digital circuits.
- Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments.
- Establish development processes to meet industry standards for functionally safe control systems (IEC 61508).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical, firmware, and system-level design (preferred).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Thorough understanding of technical principles and concepts in Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to execute tasks to tight schedules.
- Experience in leading projects and teams in a technical environment.
