Responsibilities
- Investigate and disposition non-conformances to support manufacturing.
- Design, procure, install, and qualify production equipment.
- Define manufacturing processes and plan material flow.
- Support space hardware testing, including tooling design and data analysis.
- Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles.
- Design test cases for functional, performance, and stress testing in hardware systems.
- Analyze production and test data to implement production improvements.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with prototyping and implementation.
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools (preferred).
- Experience in designing complex mechanical products and equipment at volume (preferred).
- Strong understanding of data logging techniques and handling large datasets.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware and software integration problems.
