Responsibilities
- Lead satellite offloading and processing through the cleanroom.
- Perform electrical test validation and battery charging.
- Author and update work instructions to ensure compliance with processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for operational efficiency.
- Implement process controls and corrective actions.
- Conduct root cause investigations and improve operational efficiency.
- Mentor new and junior team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- General knowledge in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Experience with mechanical design, build, and testing.
- Ability to work in a clean room and handle ESD sensitive hardware.
- Experience with space flight hardware in mechanical integration and testing.
- Familiarity with electrical test equipment and tools.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted and perform physical tasks.
