Responsibilities
- Lead a team through satellite receiving and offload operations.
- Perform electrical test validation and battery charging.
- Author and update work instructions and ensure compliance with system requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams for operational efficiency.
- Verify satellite health using computer-controlled equipment.
- Implement process controls and corrective actions.
- Mentor new and junior team members.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field.
- General knowledge of Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma).
- Experience with mechanical design, build, and test.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with space flight hardware and electrical test systems.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to obtain a US Passport and pass a background check.
