Responsibilities
- Implement new concepts and tools to improve reliability and performance.
- Develop solutions to enhance fleet availability and performance of rail vehicles.
- Identify opportunities for improved reliability, lower costs, and enhanced safety.
- Conduct engineering investigations of rail vehicles and associated equipment.
- Prepare reports detailing actions for higher vehicle reliability and asset utilization.
- Collaborate with Operations & Maintenance Managers to support engineering needs.
- Manage complex reliability projects using tools like RCM, FMECA, and Fault Tree.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Understanding of reliability processes and tools (RCM, FMECA, Fault Tree).
- Knowledge of the rail sector and transportation equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance optimization practices.
- Experience in developing standardized engineering methods.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
