Responsibilities
- Bring ideas to the Process Engineer or PIM to guide product definition.
- Participate in product design reviews as required.
- Estimate Method Time during detailed design phases.
- Participate in P-FMEA and validation of prototypes.
- Request tooling and write tooling specifications.
- Perform work station task sequencing and validate product design through FAR and FAI.
- Support production to achieve manufacturing QCD targets and participate in continuous improvement workshops.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
- Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry.
- Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering and writing work instructions.
- Experience with ERP systems for Bill of Materials and routings.
- Working knowledge of Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics.
- Familiarity with process FMEA and time analysis methods.
- Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
