Responsibilities
- Apply test principles and methods, including testability, test coverage, and test tool capacity.
- Gain full technical understanding of assigned work, including electronics domain analysis and troubleshooting.
- Design and maintain test tools such as In-Circuit, JTAG, and functional test benches, programming in LabVIEW or C.
- Develop and maintain test bench structures for effective debugging and troubleshooting.
- Apply safety principles with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) equipment.
- Analyze data from test results to drive improvements.
- Support tender quotations for bench test projects.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Test Equipment design, including developing test software and hardware for electronics systems.
- Knowledge of high power and high voltage testing, PCB-level testing, and test validation principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, cable modeling software, simulation software, and product lifecycle management tools.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as LabVIEW or C for test software development.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug test benches, electronic modules, and components.
