Responsibilities
- Manage the specification, selection, procurement, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards for pressure vessel and piping designs.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for safe and efficient design and installation of new systems.
- Provide technical support and expertise in troubleshooting rotating equipment.
- Assist in managing project scope, schedules, and budgets for successful project delivery.
- Lead root cause analyses (RCAs) for equipment issues.
- Develop strategies to maximize equipment uptime in collaboration with reliability teams.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or chemical processing environments.
- Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and Process Piping code.
- Experience with industrial rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proven hands-on mechanical and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to travel up to 40% and work in industrial environments.
