Responsibilities
- Utilize CAD software to design durable components for specific requirements.
- Develop and build custom test fixtures for component and system validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs and resolve issues.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate team feedback.
- Maintain organized documentation of design iterations and test data.
- Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical failures in existing hardware.
- Implement corrective actions for performance issues.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or related undergraduate program.
- Proficiency in designing components using 3D modeling software.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and fabrication methods.
- Foundational understanding of mechatronics and basic firmware integration.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience with Creo/Windchill and robotics principles.
- Basic programming skills for data analysis or task automation.
