Responsibilities
- Own and execute mechanical engineering workstreams from kick-off through production-intent designs.
- Translate system-level requirements into concrete design outputs.
- Collaborate with electrical and robotics engineers to address design constraints.
- Drive design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly decisions.
- Contribute to design optimization initiatives and develop CAD models.
- Support prototype builds and design validation through iterative testing.
- Participate in DFMEA activities to identify and mitigate critical failure modes.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience with complex electromechanical or robotic products.
- Proven experience in product development from concept to production.
- Strong CAD skills, including knowledge of GD&T.
- Understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design trade-offs.
- Experience with overseas manufacturers and interpreting supplier feedback.
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make informed decisions.
