Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test micro-turbine and turbo-generator systems.
- Perform mechanical design and analysis of static and rotating hardware.
- Utilize Siemens Teamcenter and NX for modeling and drafting.
- Set up and execute advanced analyses using tools like ANSYS.
- Engage in customer-funded or internal projects and assist in drafting proposals.
- Take on project management responsibilities for designing and producing engine systems.
- Provide expert advice to senior management on problem-solving and solution strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or equivalent Engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience in the turbomachinery related field.
- Expert knowledge in engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to develop methodologies for design space exploration.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing methods.
