Responsibilities
- Analyzes input requirements and translates them into system requirements and interface specifications.
- Participates in cross-functional reviews of design documentation and presents findings.
- Plans and develops system evaluation and testing activities.
- Simulates or tests new products to verify design and validate performance.
- Provides input into system verification plans and conducts tests, documenting results.
- Conducts feasibility studies and reliability testing.
- Assists in troubleshooting issues and applying systematic problem-solving methodologies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, or Software) or related field.
- Preferred: Advanced Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 6 months’ experience in medical product development (preferred).
- Experience with Class III implantable medical devices and biologic sensors.
- Knowledge of systems with hardware, software, mobile apps, and cloud components.
- Familiarity with ISO, FDA design control standards, and risk management practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
