Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of complex biotech consumables.
- Drive the development of fluidic and microfluidic systems.
- Utilize FEA, tolerance analysis, and CFD for performance prediction.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to design history files.
- Own critical subsystems from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
- Champion Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Job Requirements
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical design, with 5+ years in medical devices or biotech consumables.
- Deep knowledge of thermoplastic resins and injection molding.
- Experience with CAD and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with quality systems and risk management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and innovation mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-disciplinary environment.
