Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of system improvements for the Platform 2 system.
- Conduct Mechanical and Electrical design work to create and improve tools for flight maintenance operations.
- Evaluate and streamline existing processes to increase team efficiency.
- Collaborate with teams to update technical documentation for aircraft and ground infrastructure.
- Analyze repair and work order data using SQL and Python for root cause analysis.
- Tackle complex engineering problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel to flight test sites to work with operations teams and validate system changes.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Mechanical/Electrical design, prototyping, and CAD; experience in mass manufacturing is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to simplify complex technical information.
- Proficiency in Linux and troubleshooting hardware/software systems.
- Experience in data analysis using SQL, Snowflake, and Python.
- Experience in reliability analysis and root cause analysis.
- Strong project management skills, including creating timelines and leading meetings.
- Willingness to travel for hands-on development and testing.
