Responsibilities
- Develop process flows for major device subsystems for high-mix, high-volume production.
- Drive continuous improvement by defining, monitoring, and controlling fabrication processes.
- Conduct manufacturing experiments and process reliability testing using manual and semi-automated tools.
- Collaborate with technicians, product engineers, and quality engineers to enhance process flow.
- Leverage thin-film processes to engineer surfaces and create multilayer structures.
- Apply metrology techniques to evaluate materials and components.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA).
Job Requirements
- Preferred disciplines: Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills using statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and analysis of variance (ANOVA).
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of micromachining technologies, including lithography and deposition.
- Experience with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Familiarity with Python and CAD, and experience with geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of work experience.
