Responsibilities
- Define and execute the engineering vision for production systems.
- Lead and mentor geographically distributed teams of software development engineers and managers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production hardware, product management, and operations.
- Drive process optimization and adoption of best practices in Agile, DevOps, and automation.
- Manage budget and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation in industrial and manufacturing automation.
- Communicate technical information effectively to various stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 12+ years of engineering experience, particularly in software development.
- 5+ years in leadership roles with experience managing distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of development processes and project management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with firmware development and cryptographic systems.
- Good understanding of industrial and manufacturing automation designs.
