Responsibilities
- Perform thermal analyses for radiator and heater sizing and external coatings.
- Collaborate with hardware developers on materials and testing protocols.
- Manage thermal interfaces among spacecraft subsystems.
- Execute a defined project of high value to York.
- Gain hands-on assembly and test experience.
- Interface with multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Enrollment in a 4-year degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with heat transfer principles and thermodynamics.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work in a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Interest in full-time employment at York Space Systems.
- Demonstrated interest in spacecraft and space systems.
- Ability to work full-time in the office.
