Responsibilities
- Lead a mechanical engineering team in the development of power converters from concept to volume production.
- Guide the team through the product development process including thermal simulations and extensive design verification tests.
- Drive technical strategy and operational readiness.
- Lead Research and Development activities for new technologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis on products and technical issues.
- Maintain relationships with internal engineering organizations for an integrated development process.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure project timelines and resource allocation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 10-12 years of design experience, or a Master’s degree with 8-10 years.
- 3-5 years of engineering management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic packaging and thermal management principles.
- Experience with design tools such as SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Strong project management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
