Responsibilities
- Lead a mechanical engineering team in developing power converters from concept to production.
- Guide the team through the product development process, including thermal simulations and design verification.
- Drive technical strategy and operational readiness.
- Lead R&D activities for new technologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis on products and technical issues.
- Develop relationships with internal engineering teams for integrated development.
- Conduct regular meetings to ensure project adherence and resource allocation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 10-12 years of design experience or a Master’s with 8-10 years.
- 3-5 years of engineering management experience preferred.
- Hands-on ability to drive engineering deliverables.
- Experience with electronic packaging and thermal/dynamic simulation tools.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Strong project management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
