Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical engineering team in developing power converters from concept to production.
- Guide the team through rigorous product development processes including simulations and design verification tests.
- Drive technical strategy and operational readiness.
- Lead R&D activities for new technologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis on products and technical issues.
- Maintain relationships with internal engineering organizations for integrated development.
- Manage team performance to meet business objectives and project timelines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 10-12 years of design experience or a Master’s degree with 8-10 years of experience.
- 3-5 years of engineering management experience preferred.
- Proficiency in electronic packaging and thermal/dynamic simulation tools.
- Experience in mechanical packaging solutions for electronic equipment.
- Familiarity with stress analysis concepts and thermal management principles.
- Proficient in SolidWorks, Pro-E, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Strong project management and supervisory skills.
