Responsibilities
- Define product requirements and develop solutions for FSD functional performance.
- Perform tolerance analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and camera modeling in ANSYS SPEOS.
- Develop designs in CAD for detailed parts and master model assemblies.
- Create 2D drawings for high-volume production and inspection.
- Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews with suppliers.
- Run validation tests and perform data analysis.
- Provide production support to identify and resolve issues.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge in sensor integration for vehicles, preferably with trucking platform experience.
- Knowledge of design for plastic injection molded, sheet metal stamping, and cast parts.
- Proficient in CAD, preferably CATIA.
- Experience in drafting 2D drawings with GD&T.
- Experience with FEA and ANSYS preferred.
- Camera and lighting simulation experience in SPEOS or equivalent.
