Mechanical Engineer

The Mechanical Engineer will be part of the Mechanical and Thermal team within the Data Center Networking Group, focusing on the development of mechanical components and systems for data center and cloud switches.

• Develop and refine mechanical components and systems.
• Use analytical and logical reasoning to address engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for cohesive project development.
• Conduct mechanical and thermal design testing and debug issues.
• Utilize 3D MCAD tools for design tasks.
• Implement programming/scripting for automation or data analysis.
• Ensure effective communication of engineering concepts and designs.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (or 0 years with a Master's).
• Experience with 3D MCAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX).
• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++).
• Experience in mechanical design of computing/networking equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
