Responsibilities
- Analyze lightning data for event outages.
- Perform short circuit modeling tasks for new and retired equipment.
- Support laboratory testing of relays for firmware updates.
- Conduct short-circuit coordination for distribution feeder relays.
- Assist in managing the protective relay database.
- Shadow engineers in daily tasks.
- Learn about testing equipment in the laboratory.
Job Requirements
- Current student with Sophomore status or higher.
- Enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program (electrical, mechanical, civil, or chemical).
- Ability to commute to the corporate office in Denver, CO.
- Availability to work full-time during the summer.
- Preferred GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Completed 1 year of undergraduate coursework in basic circuits.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets.
