Responsibilities
- Perform gas model development, verification, and analysis using Synergi Gas or similar software under supervision.
- Develop documentation and assist in creating modeling procedures and training materials.
- Gain technical skills in gas system modeling and data management.
- Investigate model discrepancies and explore new processes to improve model accuracy.
- Collaborate with the Integrated System Planning team for gas hydraulic models.
- Work full-time during the summer and part-time during the fall.
- Engage in mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Job Requirements
- Current student with Junior status or higher, pursuing a degree in Engineering and/or Physics.
- Enrollment in an ABET accredited college or university.
- Ability to commute to specified office locations in Denver or St. Paul.
- Strong data management and analysis skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Course experience in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, or gas systems preferred.
- Familiarity with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., Synergi Gas) is advantageous.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
