Responsibilities
- Act as a Propulsion Test Intern for a novel aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market.
- Design, commission, and troubleshoot test fixtures and rigs.
- Support mechanical and electrical design, procurement, manufacturing, and assembly of test fixtures and harnesses.
- Integrate flight hardware and commission test fixtures.
- Collaborate with test engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and automate test assets.
- Familiarize with the architecture of test assets, aircraft subsystems, and team processes.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or relevant engineering degree).
- Expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027.
- Experience turning conceptual designs into physical parts/assemblies.
- Experience with CAD software such as NX (preferred) or Solidworks.
- Extensive hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and/or machine shop tools.
