Responsibilities

  • Act as a Propulsion Test Intern for a novel aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market.
  • Design, commission, and troubleshoot test fixtures and rigs.
  • Support mechanical and electrical design, procurement, manufacturing, and assembly of test fixtures and harnesses.
  • Integrate flight hardware and commission test fixtures.
  • Collaborate with test engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and automate test assets.
  • Familiarize with the architecture of test assets, aircraft subsystems, and team processes.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering (or relevant engineering degree).
  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027.
  • Experience turning conceptual designs into physical parts/assemblies.
  • Experience with CAD software such as NX (preferred) or Solidworks.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and/or machine shop tools.
